I can see where being in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day might make you claustrophobic.
Unlike most of the people who are saying Paris Hilton got what she deserved, I think the punishment is a bit harsh. On the other hand, I am sure that Paris will think twice about doing something that might result in more jail time.
